There was a big old bru-ha-ha over Monday night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars. The internet? It went off! Pundits here, there and everywhere were discussing whether of not Sarah Palin, who was there to support daughter Bristol, was being booed during the live airing. Was it the liberal audience making a political statement against the tea party? Was it a room full of die-hard democrats upset that Sarah was getting airtime? Or did they just not like what she was wearing? No, no and no. Turns out the boos weren’t for Sarah at all. It was such a big controversy that the producers of Dancing with the Stars felt they had to address it on the following night’s episode. So what really happened?
Turns out the crowd, chalk full of Jennifer Grey fans, were actually booing the judges. The were not happy with the scores Jennifer and Derek Hough received and thought they should have gotten something higher, although the dancers themselves seemed content with their ratings. On Tuesday night the producers opted to prove the truth by showing the raw footage which they did not initially intend to air. You can check out the video below.
Do you think the show needed to address Boo-gate on air?
