Scott Adam Victim of Somali Pirates Worked on Goonies, Love Boat & Dukes of Hazzard

Over the weekend  Americans yachters Jean and Scott Adam of Orange County and their friend friends Phyllis Macay and Bob Riggle of Seattle were hi-jacked off the Somali coast. Their ordeal had a tragic end when the pirates killed all four of their hostages.

Jean and Scott Adams had been sailing around the world since 2004 passing out bibles to far flung schools and churches uniting their passions for boating and their faith. The two were retired and were spending their time living out their dreams. Jean Adams had been a dentist and Scott Adams had worked in Hollywood on many films and TV shows. What had he worked on?
He was a successful Assistant Director, Second Unit Director and Production Manager.  He had worked on several episodes of “The Love Boat” and “The Dukes of Hazzard”. He also worked as a unit manager on beloved ‘80s flick “The Goonies”.

A very tragic end to a remarkable life. Our thoughts are with all the victims family and friends.
