Approximately 1,800 people will be sent an invite to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton that will take place on April 29, 2011.
The invites were sent out Thursday evening, but because there are so many it took until Friday for them to finish.
Distributed by the Lord Chamberlain’s office, the invites to “the Marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, K.G. with Miss Catherine Middleton” stipulate that attendees of the 11 a.m. ceremony are expected to dress in “uniform, morning coat or lounge suit.”
The couple’s wedding is expected to be the biggest royal event since Prince Charles married Diana in 1981.
