In what appears to be nothing but some sort of Twitter prank, rumors are flying that Selena Gomez is pregnant. And of course, the “Selena Gomez pregnant” buzz has sparked yet another rumor…that Justin Bieber is the father.
I’m sure we will hear from Selena Gomez’s rep at some point today, and I’m sure that he/she will assure us that Selena Gomez is not pregnant. But how did these rumors start?
The most likely theory is that this is a joke put out by an obsessed Justin Bieber fan. Ever since pictures surfaced of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez kissing over New Year’s Eve weekend, fans with major Bieber fever have been looking to take Selena down. The poor girl even got death threats at one point!
Another possible reason for the “Selena Gomez pregnant” rumor is that people are speculating that she and Justin Bieber have “taken their relationship to the next level” because she chose to remove her purity ring. Good grief. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have not even confirmed that they are dating, but people assume they are expecting a baby because of some ring?
I suppose there is a teeny tiny chance that Selena Gomez could be pregnant, but somehow I’m just not buying it.

If those rumors were true, then let it be. Why are we going to stop them since it is their own life? It’s up to them. Actually, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have good chemistry. Although they were not in the right age yet, I think they could now have their own lives. Nonetheless, they have enough money to build a family. Thanks for the post.
