Should Halle Berry & Family Have To Stand In Line?

By SunnyChanel |

SPL135950_004Those lucky, lucky celebrities. They always get reservations at the hottest restaurants, get their paws on that “it” bag, and they just happen to have the fat wallet to pay for it all. They also apparently don’t need to stand in lines at the airport like the rest of us mere mortals. At least Halle Berry, her model boyfriend and their baby don’t have too.

At Montreal’s Trudeau airport, the trio were “whisked” through airport security but the police department ain’t too happy with this special star treatment.

“The (boyfriend) of Ms. Berry asked if they could go faster through the line because they were late and they had the baby,” an inspector with the Montreal police said, an inspector said. “The officer took the personal initiative to allow them to go through the line faster, but that’s not something the Montreal police supports.”

A journalist witnessed the “whisking” and said, “It shocked me that we were waiting in line, and there were other babies and other children.”  She added that, “Monday was chaotic at the airport, people were anxious and people were nervous and everyone was scared to miss their flights.” She herself got their 3 ½ hours early to go through the heightened security lines but she wasn’t the only one she thought would be annoyed by this, noting that, “I’m not sure people from Montreal are very happy to learn that their money from their taxes is used for escorting celebrities.”

Do you think super stars should stand in line with the rest of us or should they get special treatment?
