Should Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Have a Fourth Baby?Shana Aborn
Maybe they should wait at least until little Samuel can sit up by himself.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly disagreeing over whether to have a fourth child or call it quits at three!
A source close to the couple tells Us Weekly exclusively, “Jen is happy with three now that she has a boy. Ben wants four.” Baby Samuel is just five months old.
Neither of them grew up in a particularly large household: Jennifer grew up the middle of three sisters, while Ben has only younger brother Casey. Is it possible he craves the bustle of a bigger-than-average family? Or is he trying to keep pace with bestest-bud Matt Damon, who has three daughters and a stepdaughter with wife Luciana?
Another possibility is that Ben sees the window of opportunity starting to close. Jen just turned 40 in April, and he’ll reach that milestone next month.
Fortunately, this debate doesn’t seem to be a last-ditch save-the-relationship move. The source assures the magazine, “The marriage is rock-solid.”While Jennifer is a doting hands-on mom who’s frequently seen taking Violet and Seraphina to dance class and other outings and pushing little Samuel in his stroller, she may be yearning to get back to work rather than go back into the baby-making game right away.
At this week’s CinemaCon awards ceremony, she accepted a trophy and thanked her husband for taking over kid duty so she could come to the event. “And thanks for making me feel like someday I will get to relax in a hair and makeup chair again and leave the maniacs at home with you!” she joked.
Somehow, we get the feeling that Mom’s going to win this argument – but one never knows. Just ask Tori Spelling and Kim Zolciak, who are both expecting baby #4 while #3 is still in diapers!
What do you think? Should there be another little Affleck in the house?
