Woody Allen, 74, and wife Soon-Yi Previn, 39, were photographed while out for dinner in Italy, at Rome’s famed Dal Bolognese restaurant. Along for the ride? Adopted daughters Bechet and Manzie. It’s tough to write about this family without smirking — after all, during much of Soon-Yi’s childhood, Allen was dating Soon-Yi’s mother, Mia Farrow. Allen and Farrow’s 12-year relationship only ended when Farrow discovered that he was sleeping Soon-Yi (who was 21 at the time). MORE PHOTOS below, plus one of Allen’s other kids speaks out about the Previn-Farrow relationship.
Shocking as Allen’s affection for Soon-Yi was to his fans, it’s proven even more disturbing to his and Farrow’s biological son, Seamus. In 2005, Seamus told Britain’s Mail on Sunday, “He’s my father married to my sister. That makes me his son and his brother-in-law. That is such a moral transgression. I cannot see him. I cannot have a relationship with my father and be morally consistent.”
I hate to gloat, but all of this makes you feel better about your own family, eh? Except that the Allen crew is eating fresh tagliatelle in Rome, while you’re eating mac & cheese from a box.
