Simon Cowell Grants Five-Year Old Her Last Wish

Simon Cowel has brought tears to my eyes and it has nothing to do with being screamed at that I am a horrible singer. In fact, he has completely annihilated his reputation as a mean guy.

The American Idol and Britain’s Got Talent (AKA the UK’s AI) judge fulfilled the wish of five year old cancer patient Bethany Fenton by inviting her to perform ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ for him at the Britain’s Got Talent studios. She even got to meet and hang out with some of the show’s finalists.

Just days later, the little girl passed away from a brain tumor.   

A spokesman for the family said Bethany “was absolutely over the moon with what happened. Her dad said that she had done what she always wanted to do, meet Simon Cowell and sing to him. She had achieved her big ambition and was now ready to depart this earth.”

Immediately following her special day, Bethany had told the Daily Mail, “Simon is so nice and I love him.”

Simon has been hit hard by the news of Bethany’s passing. His spokesman Max Clifford said, “He is really upset, he said what a beautiful little girl she was. He is just so sad, and sad for the whole family. She was a very special little girl and Simon was so touched when she sang for him. He was happy that he was able to do a special something on Saturday night to give her a few precious moments but it is so sad and his heart goes out to Bethany’s mum and dad and he is thinking of them.”
