'Sister Wives' Returns to TLC: Creepy or Cool?

By Michelle Lamar |

sister-wives-returnsSister Wives returns to TLC tonight!  Do you find this series creepy or cool? The reality series about a real-life polygamist family, picks back up with Kody Brown and his four wives–Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn–along with their 16 children.

Sister Wives season two goes deeper into this “unconventional” family as they experience the ups and downs of living a plural lifestyle, from the Browns’ bold decision to “come out” as polygamists on national television to the changes brought on by their recently extended family.

Watch Sister Wives tonight on TLC at 9 PM ET/PT.

The series returns for another season with more shake-ups and surprises.  In season one, Kody announced plans to take on another wife and her three kids– but just as the sister wives get comfortable with fourth wife Robyn and her children, the Brown family is once again thrown into turmoil.

After learning that they are under investigation by the police for their lifestyle, the Browns try to go on with their lives – by visiting the family ranch in Wyoming, planning a Halloween celebration and taking the brood on a winter cabin trip. But throughout season two, the tension mounts steadily until finally–fearing that their happy, loving family could be torn apart–the Browns make an enormous decision that will change their lives forever.

I like them as people. They are super nice and down to earth, a little high strung at times but they are good people.

Just finished watching about 4 hours of the show. Last Seasons re-runs and then the 1st show of the 2nd season. I love it, eat it up and think it is wonderful. Why ~ it is not traditional…isn’t this what America was built on ~ when we get down to the root of this, isn’t it religious belief? The first settlers came to American for Religious freedom. Mormans have intrigued me for years. This is showing America another Religion. It intrigues me! Would this life style be one of my choices, NO! But with that said it does not mean that I would not like to learn more about it. i am amazed how well the children are being dealt with. Kudos to them! I hope we see more! Keep the faith. Maria, from upstate NY

I truley admire what they are doing. I have 2 children from a man who has 2 children older then them and 2 younger but because we were not all together it is fine. I am not a jealous person but I don’t know how 4 women can live together knowing what is going on between Kody and the other women. I say kodos to them. I am sure my husband may like to have a woman understand what they are going through if I don’t. Everyone is different. They are living the way they want. I don’t think lesbians or gays should have children but who am I to say. Let everyone live as they want and let life experience be what you want. I say more power to them for being open. I hope everything works out for them and they all end up very happy.

I forced myself to watch this episode! Come on
now, 3 homely wife and a new toy for the jackass.
Unfortunately it’s an insult to women. This kody guy is A disgrace to all men.
The children will all need phycological help in the feature.
Can this Stupid Show they all need to get a real job
then to expose their children to this sick life style.

  5. Moore says:

First and last time that I will watch this show. Not sure as a mother of two why they would go on national tv to come out about their lifestyles. Why did they not first integrate in the community they live in and get a feel about what they were in for. Cody seems rehearsed. The wives are in a situation they chose and were not forced into this so I do not care about the plural wives. This is a money maker for them the same as Kate plus eight and 18 and counting.
They took a chance for whatever reasons they state , now they have to pay the price of their 15 minutes of fame. Hope they find it was worth it.

  6. Judy says:

I love this show! Not for the lifestyle they live but for the individuals they are and how much each one of them mean to the other… I never believed in this lifestyle and still do not believe it is for me. However, I do think it works for this family and I say if it’s not broke don’t fix it!! Continue to love and cherish each other and forget what those who do not understand have to say…. Your all unique and I give each one of you props!! Now can someone tell me why The show has not aired in two weeks????

  7. Penny says:
