Sneak Peek: Kate Gosselin's New Show 'Twist of Kate'

By Erin Blakeley |

Filming is underway for Kate Gosselin’s new reality show, Twist of Kate. I’m not sure I agree with the title of this project, a play on the phrase ‘twist of fate’. It suggests that Kate’s new life is nothing other than a cosmic accident, rather than what it actually is: the result of a failed marriage that is the product of two adults who are, when it comes down to it, equally at fault for its demise.

Nonetheless, I’m expecting Twist of Kate to comprise a lot of ‘when life hands you lemons, make lemonade’ moments—and of course, ample scenes of family life with her eight kids. And speaking of the eight, here they are on set in their driveway, shooting footage happily playing, completely aware that they are being taped totally oblivious of the cameras that are documenting their play time.

More of Kate Gosselin and her kids hard at work enjoying quality family time on the next page.

What is it Kate always says? The kids just go about having a normal day, doing what they always do, not even realizing they’re being filmed. I’m paraphrasing, of course. A look at these pictures clearly show that is a bunch of bull. How normal is it is have a guy holding a microphone over your head to catch everything you’re saying? This woman needs some serious psychological help.

  2. Karen says:

Anyone want to know why those kids “behave” so well – a lot of “discipline” behind the scenes, AND, look at the first pic – Kate in a pose like a drill sergeant standing before them so they are for SURE not going to be anything but what she has dictated – having fun, NOT. These poor kids are her trophies – and ticket to “fame,” she believes and demands of the entertainment world.

Do you know Kate Personally? It seems to me that the press is very good at judging and ditching people they don’t like and praising every move of the ones they do like without knowing the people personally. Try saying only what you know to be fact instead of giving your prejudice opinion.

I wish her all the best she is one gutsy lady, and there seem to be alot of jealous people out there whishing her harm, why? there is a little of her in all of us she just made it and good for her.

I would like to know when & what night/time, Kate’s new TV show will appear on TLC…

  6. Teri says:

I love the show, always have. They dont have cameras 24/7 365 days, so to the ones who have issues with this get over it. I cant imagine having that many kids that young, she has to have some military style discipline or the chaos would make you crazy. She is like any mom, trying to survive. Just the grocery bill alone must be astronomical then you have clothes and school stuff. She is marketing her life of raising her rare set of kids. I think its genius and kudos for her doing this. Remember what you see is edited and the crew isnt there all the time. So she does raise them off camera too. Lighten up people! If this bothers you so much, go watch Jersey Shore where your kind is accepted!
