According to Vanity Fair, Tina met Jeff Richmond, now her husband of nearly 10 years, in 1994 in Chicago’s Second City. Their first date? Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. Ah, c’est romantique. The two married in 2001 and are still happily together.

Tina confessed to People that she gained 9 pounds in one week during her first pregnancy in 2005 because she was gobbling up a box of chocolate donuts per day. And what did she say when her doc asked about the weight gain? That she must have drank too much juice. Uh-huh. Right.

Comedians nest, too!

Unlike Tina Fey’s character in Baby Mama, who nested by baby-proofing the entire house, Tina told Reader’s Digest that she “nested” by spraying everything in a healthy layer of Febreze to try and get everything to stop smelling funny.

Giving birth is like writing comedy

Tina Fey gave birth to her daughter, Alice Zenobia Richmond, on September 10, 2005. In an interview with Believer Magazine, she compared giving birth to writing comedy: “It’s a torturous experience with an eventual release and possible pride.”

Tina returned to SNL on October 22, saying: "I had to get back to work. NBC has me under contract; the baby and I have only a verbal agreement."

Tina says her first years as a mom were like someone hitting her in the face with a hammer. She told Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on his late night show: “There are so many things that I do now that I'm like, I'm a MOM now. Like, when your kid hands you their boogers, and you take it.”

During the 2007-2008 writer’s strike, Tina got a chance to spend quality time with her daughter. “It was like the maternity leave I never got,” she said in a Marie Claire interview. “She is now able to pick me up out of a lineup of four or five women.”

Tinas toddler co-writes 30 Rock

If you’ve ever laughed at 30 Rock lines like “normal sauce,” “I want to go to there,” or “crazy putty,” congratulations, you share the same sense of humor as a 3-year-old. Tina admitted in a Light Nate with Jimmy Fallon interview that she has taken many of her show’s lines verbatim from toddler Alice’s mouth.

Alices future career

Every mom wonders what her child will grow up to be, and Tina is no different. She says one day when she and 4-year-old Alice were playing pretend hair salon, she was doing Alice’s hair and asked: "Hello ma'am. What's your name? And what do you do?" Alice answered, "I get paid to dance at parties." Let’s hope no dollar bills are involved …

Princess Alice

Looks like Tina is raising her daughter in the princess culture … well, sort of. She told Esquire that Alice wants to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast. “She's a pretty violent Belle,” Tina says. “She'll come in and say, ‘Gaston is hurt. I've killed him with a sword.’”

Playing dress up

Tina announced during a 2009 Letterman interview that 4-year-old Alice had narrowed her Halloween costume choices to “Barbie princess butterfly” and “robot that eats bacon.” Tina showed her solid parenting skills by staying neutral on the issue, even though she silently hoped Alice would choose every little girl’s dream of dressing up as a carnivorous machine.

Like mother, like daughter

Tina also told Esquire that while she was being lauded for her hilarious Sarah Palin impersonation, Alice wanted to get in on the action, too, insisting to her mom, “I look like Obama!” Maybe she should take over Fred Armisen's role of SNL Obama impersonator.

Tinas high-level boss

Though Tina is the boss of many on 30 Rock, she admits in her Esquire interview that Alice is her boss: “Anyone who will barge into the room while you are on the commode is the boss of you. And when you explain to them that you're on the commode, and they should leave but they don't? That's a high-level boss."

Will a second child ruin Tinas career?

It’s reported that Tina spent a lot of time agonizing over the decision to have a second child. "What's so great about work anyway?” she writes in her new memoir, Bossypants. “Work won't visit you when you're old. Work won't drive you to get a mammogram and take you out after for soup … Hollywood be damned. I'll just be unemployable and labeled crazy in five years anyway."

On April 6, Tina Fey appeared on Oprah to promote Bossypants, and on the same hallowed ground where Tom Cruise declared his love for Katie Holmes and Dr. Oz rocked our world with the neti pot, Tina announced she is five-months pregnant with her second child!
