In the latest Us Weekly, a source reveals to the mag that the Jersey Shore spinoff originally said to feature both Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 22, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 25, has dropped Jwoww and is now fully focusing on Snooki. Though MTV reps have not confirmed any content starring Snooki, the insider claims,”Execs think a show focusing on Snooki will be a bigger hit, so they pushed JWoww out.”
Does anyone else feel like the media is exploiting and cashing in on this girl’s downfall? After the drunken arrests, court dates, and overall dysfunctional behavior that has shown no signs of getting better, you would think that the producers would give Snooki a little space to heal.
Aside from fueling the fire that has already become detrimental to Snooki’s life, what could this potential spin0ff be teaching our children? In order to make big money you must make big mistakes? This doesn’t seem right, yet it has become the norm for reality television. You flip a table? We’ll air the clip 30 times over the next 4 days. You just got out of rehab? Here, come be on the VMAs show open! The list is, unfortunately, endless.
Will you let your children watch Snooki’s new spinoff, or have you had enough of reality TV rewarding bad behavior?
