Soleil Moon Frye's Daughters Send a Special Earth Day Message! (Video)

Soleil and her daughters share a love of the Earth.

As Earth Day draws to a close, it’s good to be reminded that caring for our planet isn’t a once-a-year activity, but a daily mission.

It’s also a message we parents need to pass on to our children daily, not just through our words but through our deeds as well.

Soleil Moon Frye, the Punky Brewster star turned author and attachment-parenting proponent, certainly practices what she preaches – and so do her daughters!

On Soleil’s Moonfrye website today, she shares a video she took of her girls Poet and Jagger talking about the importance of eco-consciousness. “At our house, we try to be conscious of how our actions effect [sic] the Earth all year, but I wanted to find out how my girls thought about Earth Day and share the message with all of you at Moonfrye,” she says.

Poet reminds fans to pick up trash even when they’re on vacation, and warns that if we don’t treat our planet nicely, “then the Earth – I don’t know what’s going to happen to it, but something’s going to happen.”

Jagger says the Earth “is really nice to me… ‘cuz it’s my favorite planet…that’s the only one we have that can stand on our countries and our houses.”

It’s okay, Jagger – we know what you mean.

See their special message after the break!
