Ben Affleck, one of Hollywood’s hottest dads, dropped by Good Morning America this morning to talk about his new movie Argo. (Before I talk about Argo, just curious: do you think Ben Afleck is a sexy Hollywood dad? I definitely think his hard working, philanthropic nature, along with an adorable wife and little girls, helps.)
This morning Good Morning America shared a snippet of the movie where Affleck shuts down a plan to give the hostages bikes to use as a breakout plan, ultimately deciding to go with a better idea: making a fake movie to get the hostages out.
Affleck said it was the best movie he has ever been a part of! He got to act, direct and tell a story that is unbelievable. Since the movie is based on a true story, Affleck said, people have to believe the plot.
George Stephanopoulos, who interviewed Affleck, said he saw the movie over the weekend with his wife and just loved it and was on the edge of his seat throughout the movie…even though he knew how the movie ends.
Ben said he was really excited that they used a lot of movie techniques from the ’70s to give the movie a ’70s feel. They used real footage from the event when it was happening, and took advantage of the real footage to get all the costumes right.
What do you think? Will you go see Argo?
