Strict Madonna Or Relaxed Guy Ritchie: Who Has The Better Approach To Parenting? (Photos)

Anti-school: Guy Ritchie

Ex-couple Madonna and Guy Ritchie may share custody of their four children, but when it comes to their parenting, they seem to come from very different worlds.

Madonna is definitely the more strict parent she doesn’t allow her children to watch television, limits the types of movies they are allowed to see and even edits her daughter Lourdes’ blog!

When it comes to Guy Ritchie though, he believes that kids should have freedom in their childhood. He also stated that he’s anti-school and has never taken parenting advice from anyone.

Check out our slideshow of some of Madonna and Guy’s quotes on parenthood and raising children. Madonna also seems to take a swipe at Angelina Jolie’s parenting style, stating that she’d rather have her kids “sit in one place” than travel the world with tutors.

Tell us, who do you think has the better approach to parenting, Madonna or Guy?

''I am anti-school. And I'm anti people putting so much pressure on kids and robbing their childhood by giving them so much homework. I think if kids want to arse around, then they should.''

"My father was very strong. I don't agree with a lot of the ways he brought me up. I don't agree with a lot of his values, but he did have a lot of integrity, and if he told us not to do something, he didn't do it either."

"I could probably bring up a child as normal as I can live my life. I surround myself with people who don't treat me like a celebrity or a freak or whatever, and I would do the same with my child."

"My having a child is not for public consumption. It's not a career move. It's not a performance to be judged or rated. Nor is my role as a mother."

"Lourdes really is the love of my life. I don't want to traipse around with nannies and tutors. I think it's important for children to stay in one place, to socialize with other children."
