WATCH New 'Super 8' Trailer, Twitter Partnership with 'Super 8'

Watch the new Super 8 trailer here! Paramount Pictures launched the trailer for SUPER 8 in a new partnership with Twitter! The movie is from writer/director J.J. Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg.

Paramount is syncing its Twitter account with Facebook to connect the conversation between the two popular platforms. Amy Powell, Paramount’s Executive Vice President, Interactive Marketing Strategies & Film Production discussed the partnership between the movie studio and Twitter in a press conference:

“With Twitter, fans are able to foster a real time conversation in a communal viewing environment and we wanted people everywhere to have the chance to discover the Super 8 trailer here first.”

Twitter is great but I know the reason I’ll be watching Super 8! Kyle Chandler, from Friday Night Lights is one of the stars.

SUPER 8 is a Bad Robot/Amblin Entertainment production, directed by Abrams from his original script and produced by Steven Spielberg, Abrams and Bryan Burk. The film stars Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney, Gabriel Basso, Noah Emmerich, Ron Eldard, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Zach Mills.
