Supermodel Christy Turlington Burns Shops With Her Daughter (Photos)

Even celebs have to run ordinary errands on weekends. Supermodel Christy Turlington Burns was no exception on Sunday as she emerged from a local Whole Foods supermarket with two bags of groceries.

Along for the trip was her daughter, Grace, the older of her two children. Grace ran ahead a few steps as they crossed the street – to open the car door for her mom, we hope!

Christy played it simple in a striped sweater, black pants and boots, while Grace was sporty in her striped coat, purple leggings and pink-accented sneakers.

The runway star has been focusing her attention on her work with her charity, Every Woman Counts, which seeks to eliminate preventable deaths related to pregnancy and childbirth worldwide.  Perhaps Grace will help her mother with her humanitarian efforts one day, too.
