Suri Cruise Makes Her Getaway in New York! (Photos)

By shanaaborn |

Suri Cruise goes cruising.

Hey, Mom, I’m 6 now. I don’t need to hold your hand ALL the time.

That’s what Suri Cruise seemed to be saying today as she went with mom Katie Holmes to spend some playtime in Manhattan’s Chelsea Piers.

At first, she was her usual reticent self in front of the photographers, shielding herself behind a gigantic Angelina Ballerina doll. But later, as mother and daughter headed back to their car, Suri broke away and dashed across the crosswalk on her own.

She really has grown up! Suri has lost the babyishness in her face, and her height and long hair emphasize the fact that her toddler days are far behind her.

So maybe it’s time for Mom to gently suggest to her young lady that she doesn’t need to bring toys with her wherever she goes…

Take a look at these fun new pictures!
