T.I. and wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested overnight and booked on drug charges. The couple were pulled over in Los Angeles and their car searched when deputies reportedly smelled marijuana.
Police found a controlled substance after searching the vehicle – T.I. and Tiny were arrested and booked for felony possession of a controlled substance. There are no specific details on what drugs were found, but sources tell TMZ that it was not cocaine.
T.I. and Tiny were married on July 30. T.I. is currently on probation after serving seven months in prison for federal weapons charges.
Bail for T.I. and Tiny was set at $10,000; they were released early this morning.
Tiny is a singer with the group Xscape. T.I. (real name Clifford Harris Jr.) currently can be seen in the movie Takers. He appeared on the MTV reality series “T.I.’s Road to Redemption,” a cautionary look at gun and violence, and his prison sentence.
T.I. has six children, including two sons with Tiny.
