Madrid, Spain — inspired by Penelope Cruz 2 of 8
Who doesn't dream of visiting Spain during the winter, right? The food, culture, and attractions make it one of the best European countries to visit all year round. Did I mention the food is great, too? Penelope Cruz spends a lot of time in her native Madrid, where I'm sure she enjoys the best tapas the Spanish capital has to offer. And if you happen to be taking your family along on the trip, then check out Zoo Madrid and Aquarium for a fun day out as well. I took my daughter in 2009, and she loved it. You won't regret it!
Sydney, Australia — inspired by Nicole Kidman 3 of 8
If you're really up for a world-class getaway, do like Nicole Kidman and escape to her native Australia, where you'll have an opportunity to get up close and personal with a few kangaroos and koala bears and get jiggy with a few Santa Claus-clad beauties on Sydney's world famous Bondi Beach. Need a place to stay? The Park Hyatt Syndey gives you the best views of the Sydney Opera House in the heart of the city.
Las Vegas, Nevada — inspired by Holly Madison 4 of 8
Holly Madison loves Las Vegas, and Las Vegas loves Holly Madison. If you decide to take a no-kids trip to Sin City, stay at the world famous Paris Hotel and dine at their Eiffel Tower restaurant, where you'll get the best views of the strip. And if you're looking for a little fun and entertainment (you're in Vegas, after all!), you can check out Holly on stage as she is scheduled to join the Million Dollar Quartet for a special performance.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil — inspired by Giselle Bundchen 5 of 8
If you've ever been to Brazil, you'll know that's where the majority of the world's most beautiful people live, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that supermodels such as Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima hail from the South American country. If you're in Rio de Janeiro, check out the Christ the Redeemer statue that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West visited during their stay earlier this year or take a walking tour of the Vidigal. The weather's warm this time of year, so don't forget to bring your best swimwear for their world famous beaches, too!
Miami, Florida — inspired by Shakira 6 of 8
Shakira might be spending more of her time in Barcelona these days, but she calls Miami home as well, and that's where she gets to relax and unwind under the warm South Florida sun. Miami is especially enticing during the winter months when the rest of the country is blanketed in snow. While in Miami, spend your nights at the Fountainbleu Hotel and spend your afternoons people-watching at the iconic Versailles Cafe in Little Havana.
Amsterdam, Netherlands — inspired by Doutzen Kroes 7 of 8
I recently visited Amsterdam this past summer and fell in love with the quirky European city all over again, which is also home to Dutch supermodel and Victoria's Secret angel Doutzen Kroes. Not only did I get a chance to check out their Pixar Expo (which was awesome, to say the least), but I also stayed at the uber chic and trendy Andaz Hotel, which, if you ask me, looked like a futuristic Nicolas Copernicus-inspired hotel with a great modern Dutch twist to it. And while you're there, pick up some Dutch waffle syrup cookies. You can thank me later.
London, England — inspired by Victoria Beckham 8 of 8
After spending a few years in sunny Southern California with her family, Victoria Beckham realized there's no better place than home. That's why she packed her bags and moved back to London in 2012. If you're looking to visit the British capital this winter, book your flight with British Airways (their business class seats are incredibly roomy), do all of your holiday shopping at Marks and Spencer (where you can pick up same great Downton Abbey gifts), and definitely try some late night French fries with your favorite pint of beer. That last part is a must.
