'Teen Mom 3' Star Kristina Robinson: How Her Baby Daddy Drowned!

'16 and Pregnant' star Kristin Robinson and her baby daddy.

16 and Pregnant season 4 may have not even aired yet, but star Kristina Robinson has already be poised to become one of the girls from the upcoming series Teen Mom 3!

MTV recently announced a third venture into the Teen Mom franchise with a whole new slew of girls catapulted form their 16 and Pregnant franchise.

Robinson has a unique story as her baby daddy and fiance John Todd Hight, Jr. passed away before their baby was born!

Sounds a little like Farrah Abraham’s story, no? Well get a box of tissues ready because this is going to be one bumpy ride!

MTV’s trailer for the fourth season of 16 and Pregnant features a number of dramatic and emotional moments from the upcoming season, but none seemed more dramatic than when Robinson said, “My fiance passed away. I just remember being pulled ashore, looking around, and him not being there.”

John, who went by the name Todd, was swimming in rough water with Kristina, who was pregnant at the time, and a group of their friends off Galveston beach on April 30, 2011. Unfortunately, he was submerged under water and no one ever saw him resurface.

John Todd Hight, Jr.’s body was found washed up about five miles away in East Beach on May 2. The cause of death was ruled a drowning. Todd was only 19 years old.

This is only one of the tragic stories that will have us hooked when 16 and Pregnant reveals its new season on March 27 at 10PM.
