Last night was MTV’s Teen Mom reunion finale special, and Dr. Drew Pinksy spoke more with Amber Portwood, who is currently under investigation for kicking and punching her ex-fiancee in front of their baby daughter Leah.

The Teen Mom reunion finale special on October 19, hosted by Dr. Drew, gave an update on all of the moms featured on the series.

Dr. Drew spoke more with Amber Portwood about her domestic violence issues, telling her “it can’t go on.” Amber broke down several times during the interview as she watched video footage of herself hitting Gary she said she doesn’t remember it like that.

Dr. Drew then brought Gary out during the Teen Mom finale special she said they aren’t together but they want to be. They’re still fighting too, but apparently still love each other.

Dr. Drew shows Amber and Gary more footage of their violent relationship, telling her “this has to stop.” Amber says she’s desperate for help and will get it.

The police and Department of Child Protective Services in Indiana are currently investigating the September domestic violence incident.

Amber says, “I have no clue why I hurt Gary… I sort of do, but it’s beyond myself. I can’t help myself. I have to get help and then help myself. I feel so terrible and it’s like, did I really do that?”

Amber adds, “I’m ashamed of the type of human being I am… I have a lot of problems, and plus I don’t care about myself… so whatever happens to me, happens to me.”

The Today show gave an update on Amber Portwood’s investigation the Coalition Against Domestic Violence says that domestic violence in front of a child under the age of 14 in that state can result in felony charges. The legal issues are discussed, including whether the MTV Teen Mom camera crew could be in trouble for not reporting the abuse.
