“Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans’ Heartbreaking Letter to Her Unborn Child: “You Were Going to Be My Pride and Joy”

jenelle ball capTeen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans suffered a miscarriage back in January, in the midst of yet another turbulent time in her life. She hasn’t discussed the issue publicly, but that’s not surprising – losing a baby is a private and painful matter.

Now, we have a glimpse into Jenelle’s heart and thoughts on the tragedy. She lived with a roommate after briefly leaving husband Courtland Rogers, and left her diary behind when she moved out. The roommate made public a letter Jenelle wrote to her unborn child, and it made its way online.

In it, we learn that Jenelle knew what her baby’s sex would be, and that she’d already picked out a name.

“Hey, babygirl, or Ashton, as I would of named you,” she begins. “Heaven is a better place for you right now.”

Jenelle, whose son Jace is three, goes on to say, “You were going to be my pride and joy, my little angel. As soon as I found out you were in my belly, I started buying things for you immediately.”

But as followers of the show know, her relationship with Courtland has been anything but ideal. The letter also describes the physical abuse she endured, which she believes caused her to miscarry. “The day you came out of me was one of the hardest days of my life,” she writes.

Jenelle has since reconciled with Courtland (a decision with which many may disapprove) and she tweets that he has read her entire diary.

The letter ends with a hope that her daughter’s soul will be reincarnated one day. “I do believe when I do have another baby that will be you and a better life will be given to you and your family will be very loving and caring, I promise….” the MTV star writes. “I love you and can’t wait to meet you in the future.”

Heartfelt words from a heartbroken mother. We can only hope that Jenelle’s life will settle down for good one day so that she can have that happy family life she dreams of.
