"Teen Mom" Leah Is Engaged – AND Pregnant!

The future Mr. and Mrs. Simms

Here comes the bride – and Baby #3 – and more grist for the reality-show mill!

Just a couple of weeks after an unconfirmed report that “Teen Mom 2″‘s Leah Messer was expecting her third child, her boyfriend Jeremy Calvert tells the new Reality Weekly magazine that it’s true – and that they’re now engaged.

“Yes, Leah is having my baby!” Jeremy says in the article, which was quoted by Hollybaby. “At first I was kind of surprised – but I was happy.”

The new arrival will be the half-sibling of Leah’s twins Ali and Aleeah, who just turned 2.

Jeremy also revealed that he took the next step in their 5-month relationship by proposing to Leah on Christmas Day.

“I bought an ornament for the tree that said, ‘Engaged’ with our names on it and the date,” he says. “And when I saw Leah looking at it, that’s when I gave her the ring. It’s a 1.5 [karat] princess-cut diamond.”

Little Ali reportedly said “yes” before her mom even got the chance.

Getting divorced, engaged and pregnant for the third time in less than a year – especially at age 19 – may not be everyone’s idea of smart life decisions. Leah will have to do even more juggling of time and energy with two toddlers and a newborn, and stress is almost a given.

But for now, she and Jeremy are over the moon as only young lovers can be, and they have the blessing of Leah’s ex, Corey Simms. “We get along good! He is a good guy to be around my daughters,” Corey recently tweeted about the dad-to-be.

So far, Leah and Jeremy haven’t made any official announcements on Twitter, so we’ll have to keep a close eye on her ring finger and stomach to know for sure whether the article is legit. Tabs have falsely pegged Leah as pregnant several times since the twins’ birth, after all.

But we’re thinking that this time, the rumors might actually be real. Teen Bump Watch time!
