Teen Stars of the 90s Become Celebrity Parents

The teen stars of the 1990s are emerging as the celebrity parents of today.   Many of the teen stars we grew up with in the 90s are quickly joining us in the trenches of parenthood.

Everyone from Alyssa Milano, who is currently expecting her first baby, to Candace Cameron Bure, who already has three kids to her name, are stepping into their most important role to date — that of mom or dad.   Some keep their parenting on the down low, some put it front and center tweeting every detail of their day.  Whatever their approach to celebrity parenting, these teen stars are all grown up!

    Melissa Joan Hart was magic in the 90s! The teen star had not one, but two hit shows during the decade. First off she was sassy Clarissa in the hit Nickelodeon series "Clarissa Explains It All". Then she found her home on "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" that first aired on ABC and later on The WB.

    Just call her Dr. Mayim Bialik. This former teen star took a break after "Blossom" to head to college to study Neuroscience. She ulimatedly achieved her PhD. All that schooling must come in handy for her role as the uber smart Amy Farrah Fowler on CBS' "The Big Bang Theory". When she's not acting, Mayim is busy with her off-screen role as mom to two sons -- Miles, 5, and Frederick, 2 1/2.

    Joey Lawrence may not have been the star of "Blossom", but he was a major sex symbol of the 90s with his role of Joey Russo. Off-screen Joey showed his musical side with the major hit "Nothing My Love Can't Fix". These days you can find Joey costarring with Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence on the hit ABC Family show "Melissa and Joey" and playing daddy to his daughters - Charlie, 5, and Liberty, 1.

    "Saved by the Bell" was the teen star powerhouse of the 90s. With Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, and Mario Lopez teens flocked to their tv sets every Saturday morning. As the teens grew up, the series dwindled before making its exit in 1993.

    Mario Lopez doesn't seem to age at all! From his days on "Saved by the Bell" to his current hosting gig on Extra! Mario looks as youthful as ever. Mario welcomed his first child, Gia, with girlfriend Courtney Mazza in 2010.
