Tension Between SJP & Matthew Broderick?

Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick are set to welcome twins any day now, and according to sources, the couple are not seeing eye to eye on a very important issue!

According to sources close to the famous couple, SJP wants to hire a nanny to help care for their new daughters so she can return to work, but Matthew is not too keen on the idea.

The source said, “They had a big row earlier this month when Sarah was trying to arrange nannies to help with the twins in the autumn when she starts filming.

“I think Matthew was anxious about the babies being looked after by someone else. She hates the idea too but – not surprisingly – it looks like there’s just no way she can work 18-hour days on set and look after the children.”

Shouldn’t they have discussed this issue before they decided to become parents again?

The pal adds that Sarah Jessica and Matthew are also worried they will struggle to cope with the twins.

“Sarah is panicking a bit, wondering whether her and Matthew both being in their 40s means they’re too old to cope with the heavy workload newborns bring,” said the source.

“She might be scared the night feeds, early mornings and lack of sleep could really divide a wedge between them.”

OK, again, didn’t they think this through?  They seem like smart people, already have a six-year-old son, James Wilke, who was born when they were 38 (Sarah) and 41, so I’m guessing they can handle the new babies.  Forty-four and forty-seven isn’t that old.

They are probably just having some jitters about the big changes that are about to take place… they will be fine!
