Teresa Giudice: "I Want My Daughters To See Me Strong"

For me, it is so refreshing to see reality television star Teresa Giudice out of the Real Housewives of New Jersey mix. Honestly, that show has not been putting her in the best light and it’s not until we see her on the Celebrity Apprentice that we’ll be able to see her really shine. Say what you want about her, but there is no denying that she has become a hard-working, independent woman who is turning her wrongs into rights.
Our favorite fabulicious celebrity mom recently did an interview with Parenting.com and talked about her upcoming cookbook, her cooking (of course) and raising her four daughters. Here are some outtakes:
Do your girls like helping you make dinner? “Every time I cook I try to get my daughters involved. Whatever Mommy loves to do, they love to do. Mommy loves putting on makeup, so they love putting on makeup. Mommy loves to shop, so they love to shop. So, mommy loves to cook; they love to cook!”
Do you make anything your kids won’t eat? “The kids, God bless them, are not picky eaters. They’ll eat anything. I think it’s because I started them on real food when they were around 4 months. They ate what we ate. I would just mash it up with a fork or blend it in a food processor.”
About her stint on Celebrity Apprentice: “Housewives came along and I thought, oh, this is fun; I’ll do it for fun. I didn’t know it was going to be what it is and I’m grateful for that, but now it’s a job and that’s it. Celebrity Apprentice was a breath of fresh air; it’s what I am now. I’m a mom and a businessperson. I want to show my girls that Mommy is working hard so they grow up to be successful independent women.”
(Jaqueline Laurita is probably reading all of this while barfing into her BLK Water (because starting a black water line was so clever) and secretly wishing she were the first Housewife to write her own cookbook.)
We honestly cannot wait to see Teresa on the Celebrity Apprentice. Girlfriend is going to kick some serious TUSH!
