Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Giudice

Born and raised in New Jersey and living a lavish lifestyle complete with marble mansion, she runs an online boutique called TG Fabulicious and just published a cookbook: Skinny Italian. Her businesses come second to her family, which includes daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and husband, Joe. This season, she was filmed giving birth – in a full face of makeup, nonetheless – to her newest addition, baby Audriana.

Has the new baby reached any milestones yet?

She’s about to crawl, but I don’t want her to crawl because then I’ll be chasing her all over.

What’s been your biggest parenting challenge so far?

Gia turning 9. She’s starting to get a little bit of attitude. She thinks she’s fabulous, and she is, of course. All her teachers always tell me what a great kid she, is but she has her “Yeah, ma, I know” moments. She’s getting older, and it’s blowing me away.

How do you discipline Gia and your other kids when they act up?

I spank. I’m Italian, so I do spank. And I ground them. When I was growing up, my parents just looked at me and I was scared. Yesterday, Milania kept yelling, and Joe took out the duct tape and said, “I’m going to tape your mouth shut if you don’t stop yelling!” She and Gabriella were fighting because Gabriella was playing with C.J. and not her, so Milania said, “Gabriella and C.J. are being mean to me.” It was cute.

Is there one lesson you really want to impart on them?

Morals. That’s the number one thing. Respect yourself. Hopefully they’ll grow up just like me. I don’t have skeletons in my closet, thank you very much.
