The Bachelor Brad Womack Hometown Dates: Who lives in Madawaska Maine and Chico?

madawaska main, chico ca, chico, bachelor hometown dates

Brad visits Madawaska Maine and Chico Ca.

Monday night on The Bachelor, Brad Womack visited the four bachelorette’s home towns.

Hometown dates are always interesting because the bachelor visits with the women’s families for the first time.

Brad visited Chantal O’Brien in Seattle, which went extremely well.  He and Chantal’s dad hit it off instantly and realized they almost eerily share too much in common.

Brad also visited Emily in North Carolina,  meeting her daughter Ricki for the very first time.  It took a while for Ricki to warm up, understandably, but she did.  I think Emily will be Brad’s final pick.  Watch a video clip below.

One of the stops was Madawaska, Maine where Ashley Hebert lives.  Madawaska is a small town at the northern most tip of New England. Madawaska is very close to Edmundston in New Brunswick, Canada.  Because of the Acadian influence, over 80% of the residents of Madawaska speak French at home.

Brad hit it off with Ashley’s family right away and any anxieties Ashley had went out the window.

Brad also visited Shawntel Newton’s hometown, Chico, California. Chico is the most populous city in Butte County, California, United States. The town has almost 90,000 residents.  The official city nickname is “City of Roses”.

Shawntel works as a funeral director and mortician, which freaked out Brad quite a bit.  Her parents want her to take over the family business so it seemed unlikely that she would move to Texas with Brad.

Brad sent Shawntel home.
