Yesterday all our favorite daytime starts were out in full glam fashion for the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Held in the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, June 23rd in Beverly Hills, California everyone from our favorite soap stars to our most-trusted medical hosts were celebrated for the best in their categories.
Award shows are more than just who takes home which award though — fashion is always at the top of the conversations as the celebrities roll in. Some you can tell are effortlessly flawless and others, well, could use a lot more help.
From the glamorous Susan Lucci to the talented Bobby Flay — which stars fashion choices were total HITS and which ones were big time MISSES?

Cindy Ambuehl and Don Diamont
Don from The Bold & the Beautiful is wearing a pretty typical-can't-really-go-wrong suit. His wife Cindy, the color of her dress is gorgeous, but the fit and shape -- MISS!
The Young and the Restless cast member Catherine also picked a great color for her dress. Just like Cindy though, this dress needs MUCH more structure for her body. Big MISS.
I love Julie on The Talk and of course, Big Brother. She looks amazing in this dress -- another shade of blue like the previous ladies. This one, a total HIT.
An actress on General Hospital Rebecca makes me think this color hue is a developing trend. Her structured dress with the textures, looks beautiful -- a HIT!
Deidre is one of the legends of daytime tv playing Marlena on Days of our Lives. This color is great for her skin, though I am a bit put off by all the fabric on her dress. On the fence about this one.
Kristian is another member of Days of our Lives and this dress, I feel is too light for her skin tone. The bottom of the dress looks too airy for the more structured top. This one, a MISS.
This wouldn't be a daytime award show if Susan Lucci wasn't in it. The legend from All My Children stole the show with this incredible color choice. The dress is perfect for summer, great for her skin tone and she looks killer. Total HIT!
