The Duggars: ”¬Michelle & Jim Bob Will Be Grandparents Again Soon! Will Their Son Have as Many Kids As Them?

In just a couple weeks 19 Kids and Counting stars Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar will be starring in their own reality which could go by the name 2 grandkids and counting.

The very fertile couple  – who have 19 children of their own -will be welcoming their second grandchild when their son Joshua and his wife Anna welcome their second child into the family.  Their first grandchild was born in October 2009 and is named Mackynzie Renee, and she’s a couple months older than her aunt (her dad’s sister) who was born a couple months later.

Their new baby will be a boy and they plan to have a home birth. Right now they are taking it easy, relaxing and getting ready for their baby. So with two babies already does this mean the young Duggar couple will be growing their family as big as Michelle and Jim Bob?

Josh told E Online that, “We’ve decided we’re going to have 25. I always say that jokingly, but there’s a lot that goes into a family, and a lot of hard work, and that point often gets overlooked, especially with the harshness the economy is going through now. [The cost of children] is something we think about, but it’s often a sacrifice to be able to raise a child and do it well, whether you have one sacrifice or 19.”

“It’s really not about the number of children you have,” Josh added, “but how well are you doing with the children that God has given you. We’re really just going to take it one at a time. I don’t think you can say we’re going to set out and say we’re going to have five kids or four or three. We have no control over that. God has the control. Obviously, we can do things to prevent that, but I’m glad my parents didn’t just settle to have three or four children. There are definitely a lot of advantages to trusting [in God]. Anna’s glad that her parents didn’t stop at four, because she was number five.”
