According to Jon, the Gosselin kids are actually starting to stand up for their right to not have their whole lives televised. On, August 7th, word has it that the “8” actually organized a protest, because the didn’t want to “work” that day. Good for them!
Wow, Gosselin story that actually includes the children. How novel… right?
Here’s the scoop: In an interview with Life & Style Magazine, Jon revealed that the sextuplets, along with the help of the two other kids, decided to hold some kind of sit-in thingy.
“The kids staged a sit-in — a revolt… They didn’t want to work today.”
Another eyewitness confirmed the mini-rebellion, saying:
“once the kids returned home, the film crew kept yelling at them to film more outside. They seemed really tired, but the crew kept pushing them.”
Isn’t it messed up that these kids look at their daily life around the home as “work?” The kind of work that they have to stage sit-ins to have their grievances addressed? Reality TV’s got to be setting the stage for some pretty strange psychological issues later in life.
Now, it’s fair to point out here that Jon and TLC are not particularly fond of each other right now… so he might very well be saying these things just to hurt the network’s image. He seems a little roguish these days, with his Divorced Dads show and all.
The network flat out denies the story, of course.
