The Grieving Duggar Family Names Their Lost Baby: What Did They Pick?Sunny Chanel
The very large Duggar family endured a family tragedy last week. Michelle Duggar sadly miscarried what would have been her 20th child. The family is presently mourning the loss of this baby who was to be born in April. As part of dealing with their grief, they will hold a funeral for the baby. And they have also given the baby a name. Did it start with a “J” like all the other kids? The Duggar clan has a thing for the letter “J.” Their other kids are named: Joshua, 23; twins Jana and John-David, 21; Jill, 20; Jessa, 19; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; Josiah, 15; Joy-Anna, 14; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 12; Jason, 11; James, 10; Justin, 8; Jackson, 7; Johanna, 6; Jennifer, 4; Jordyn, 3, and Josie, 2. There was one other miscarriage (which would have been their second child) and that baby was named Caleb.
But they did name the child with a J. The baby was to be a girl and they named her Jubilee Shalom Duggar. The family will hold a funeral on December 14th.
“We have had many tears today,” said Jim Bob Duggar. “This is life, and I understand that we are going though something that many others have. You think about the what-ifs, but God gives us strength to go on. We won’t be able to see this child’s life and the phases that we’ve seen for our other children, but we know we will see this child in heaven one day. We are thankful for each child, and we are blessed to have the children we have here and the ones we will meet someday in heaven.”
