Yet another Real Housewife is thrown her hat into the literary ring, joining the ranks of cast members from New York, Orange County and Atlanta. The controversial cast member from the Real Housewives of New Jersey –Danielle Staub– has just released her autobiography The Naked Truth. And if her writing is as bad as her speaking, well this book may be in trouble…
On the Today show this week she used the phrase “theraputical” and instead of lesser used the word “leaser” as in “I pled to the leaser of the charges.” Yeah, she takes some pretty big liberties with the English language. But the book does, thankfully, have a cowriter so hopefully she was able to reign in Danielle creative phrasing.
The book features:
“ The truth behind Cop Without a Badge, the book that shocked the other housewives in the first season’s explosive finale.
Her flashy, fast-paced life as a Miami model—and exotic dancer.
Her controversial arrest and time spent in prison.
Her wild hookups with famous celebrities, including an Olympian and a Miami Vice star.
Her abusive childhood, rocky marriages, stormy divorces—and her triumphant rise as one of television’s most intriguing personalities.”
“One of television’s most intriguing personalities?” Really? That’s a pretty big claim.
Would you read her book? Maybe just for her original take on language?
