How do you explain to your children how to avoid bulling in school while you are a bully yourself on your national reality television show?
Looking back at last night’s reunion special of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, we couldn’t help but feel that stars Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo might have a case of adult bullying.
I mean, how else do you explain their behavior each time they hurl insults at each other with words that rhyme with itch and completely embarrass themselves with their quizzical icy stares, eye rolls and forehead insults?
Teresa’s daughter Gia, who at 10 will be enterting her middle school years very soon, shouldn’t be seeing her mother act like this on television (nor should any other little girl, for that matter). How can Tre explain to her daughters – Gia, Milania, Florencia, and Napoliana – the consequences of bullying when she herself is a bully to her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga?
Or how about Caroline? She loves to be called the family matriarch, but what kind of example is she setting as an aunt who likes to group her family members at times to gang on ousted individuals (remember last year’s reunion with Danielle Staub?).
Someone hand me an Olive Garden breadstick and call me 1/16th Italian (thank goodness I am Polish), because I think we’ve had enough of these housewives who only act like mean girls in really expensive (and rented) clothes.
