Tiffany Feder-Cohen: Lindsay Lohan's New Lawyer

Celebrity lawyer (and mom!) Shawn Chapman Holley is no longer representing celebrity basket-case Lindsay Lohan. So who’s taking Holley’s place? Lawyer Tiffany Feder-Cohen, a young non-celeb attorney who specializes in criminal and immigration defense. Yes, Lohan has replaced an experienced mother figure with a near-peer. This may be a sign that Lindsay’s not quite ready to grow up (as if her crude fingernails weren’t sign enough?), or it could be a confirmation that sometimes a smart youth is the best person for the job. So who’s the newbie lawyer?

Lucky for us, unlike Holley (pictured with Lohan, at left), Tiffany Feder-Cohen has a Facebook page. And a Linked-In page. And yup, she’s on Twitter.

Tiffany Feder-Cohen graduated from U.C.L.A. in 1998 Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in History and Philosophy. She likely graduated from law school in 2006, since that’s the year she started her post-grad clerk position. So yes, she’s smart.

According to her Facebook page, she’s a fan of swimmer Michael Phelps, Hudson river airplane hero Captain C.B. Sully Sullenberger, the Minnesota Vikings, Coldplay, the Dave Matthews Band, Weeds (hello, lawyer?), Californication, and the original Grease movie. A client posted this review on the Facebook page for Feder-Cohen’s law practice:

“Firstly, for all of you people out there that don’t know who this fantastic lady is, you had better get to know her quick. She is truly THE person that can get things done! Thank you for all the hard work and all you did to help me. I will forever be indebt with you. God bless you in all you do, and wishing you a succesful career!”

As for Twitter, she joined last September but has barely posted. Earlier today, she had only 14 followers, but the number is slowly growing. She follows 23 people, including Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Deepak Chopra, Brooke Burke, and Elizabeth Taylor.

Will she be a good fit for LiLo? We’ll be watching.
