We all saw the writing on the wall. Unless he was to do some shillin’ for divorce lawyers, prophylactics or the Las Vegas tourist board, most god fearing, opinion obliging, family friendly companies would steer clear of Tiger Woods.
The man has oodles of advertising obligations and lent his family man image to many a brand. Over the last couple days, Tiger has lost two more spokesperson gig. First, since the clean cut image of Tiger has been shattered, went the Gilette ads. They will “limit his role” while he “sorts out his personal life.” Next up for the Woods burning is Accenture, the global management services company. They stated, “Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising. Accenture said that it wishes only the best for Tiger Woods and his family.”
But Nike? They’re standing by their man. He must have had a pretty iron clad contact with them!
