TNT Cancels HawthoRNe: Did Will and Jada Try To Save The Show With Their Split Rumors?Joanna Mazewski
For those fans who love watching Jada Pinkett Smith’s hospital drama HawthoRNe, we’ve got some bad news for you. TNT has cancelled the series after three seasons on the air, leaving both Jada Pinkett Smith and Jennifer Lopez’s ex Marc Anthony, without a day job.
TNT released a press statement to the media stating, “The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show’s talented cast, crew, producers and writers.”
“We wish everyone involved with HawthoRNe nothing but the best.”
The cancellation of the series comes as a shock, especially to many dedicated fans of the show and those who recently tuned in to see if co-stars Jada and Marc “are or aren’t having” an off-screen affair.
This only makes us wonder though, did Jada and hubby Will Smith plant split and separation rumors to help keep Jada in the headlines for the sake of the show?
Just last month, the internet buzzed with rumors that the Hollywood power couple were separating because of an alleged affair between co-stars Jada and Marc. Could this have all been planned in order to save the show from being axed by TNT?
What are your thoughts? Are Will and Jada really having marriage troubles or was this a failed PR stunt to help save the show?
