To Write Love on Her Arms tour dates

The To Write Love on Her Arms tour is in full swing, with TWLOHA’s founder, Jamie Tworkowski, visiting the following universities for these TWLOHA tour dates:

November 15: University of Kentucky
November 17: Bradley University
November 22: University of St. Thomas
December 8: University of Wisconsin
January 26: Florida Southern College
February 8: Fairmont State University
February 16: St. Cloud State University
March 29: Russell Sage College

I hope that college students are able to attend one of these To Write Love on Her Arms tour dates. TWLOHA was founded by Tworkowsi, who got the idea when a friend was rejected from a treatment center for cocaine addiction and cutting.

He blogged about his friend and tried to raise money for their treatment… and then the movement took off, with TWLOHA raising awareness and money for people to get the help they need.

The To Write Love on Her Arms website says: “You were created to love and be loved. You were meant to live life in relationship with other people, to know and be known. You need to know that your story is important and that you’re part of a bigger story. You need to know that your life matters.”

With teen suicides sadly making news more and more, TWLOHA’s anti-suicide movement is more important than ever. Universities across the country are creating their own chapters to provide support for the campus community.
