Tom Hanks Grows a Walt Disney Stash! (Photos)

Tom Hanks & His Walt Mustache

Tom Hanks has a new addition to his face, he has grown a mustache. The Academy Award winning actor was spotted on the red carpet for his new movie Cloud Atlas wearing a shiny gray suit and his brand new facial hair. And there is a very good reason why he has this classic stash, for his role as Walt Disney in the movie Saving Mr. Banks which is currently in production.

In the film Hanks plays Walt Disney (the first time the icon has been represented on the big screen) in a story about Walt’s challenging quest to secure the film rights to the beloved novel Mary Poppins by author P.L. Travers (played by Emma Thompson). “It’s like another version of Mary Poppins by way of the relationships between P.L. Travers, who wrote it, and everybody that made the movie cause it was a very contentious experience,” said Hanks to the Hollywood Reporter.
