Candace Crawford and Tony Romo started dating shortly after he split from singer Jessica Simpson, so we can’t help but wonder what Jess’s reaction will be to Tony Romo getting engaged.

Will Jessica Simpson be jealous to hear that Tony Romo popped the question to Candice Crawford instead of her?

While Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were dating, she was not shy about the fact that she thought Tony was “the one”, and made it clear that she wanted to settle down and have babies with him. Tony never seemed ready to commit to Jessica, but it didn’t take him long to become engaged to Candice Crawford.

Jessica Simpson announced her engagement to beau, Eric Johnson a few weeks ago, and she has said that she’s happier than ever with him.

But is it ever easy to see an ex-boyfriend get engaged to someone else? My guess is that she has to feel a little bit hurt by the fact that Tony Romo chose Candice Crawford over her.
