Top Chef All Stars–Who will win?

Top Chef Judge Gail Simmons

Maybe judge Gail Simmons will give us some hints about who will win?

Top Chef All Stars kicked off last night on Bravo with a unique challenge: the chefs had to make the dish that originally sent them home. Talk about drama!

Even though the premiere of Top Chef All Stars just happened, everyone is already rooting for their favorites from seasons past. The show is unpredictable and anyone can get sent home at any time. All it takes is one over-salted dish or undercooked fish. No one is safe.

But, there are some chefs that are more likely to stick around than others.

My picks:

*Marcel Vigneron, Season 2: Did anyone like this guy on the show last night? I think Marcel is out to prove something to the cast, maybe to all of America. Like him or hate him, he’s always been a strong contestant.

*Tre Wilcox, Season 3: When he was sent home during his season for being executive chef of Restaurant Wars, it was probably one of the biggest upsets in Top Chef history. Many thought he’d win that season. Why not this one?

*Richard Blais, Season 4: Runner-up his season, he lost because his final elimination challenge wasn’t up to par with his usual offerings. And he knew it.

*Carla Hall, Season 5: Another one to have lost the competition in the final challenge, Carla tried something other than her style and lost. It was her classical style that got her so far in the competition last time and this time, she has vowed to stay true to her own style.

*Jennifer Carroll, Season 6: My opinion on why Jen lost her season? She was up against the Voltaggio brothers. No one could beat them.

As much as I wanted to put Fabio Vivani on this list, I can’t. Not after his fight last night with judge Anthony Bourdain.

Of course, we never know who is going home each week. Who are your favorites?
