Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, are overjoyed at the arrival of their third child, baby Hattie Margaret McDermott. While most new parents are more than happy to welcome as many new baby gifts as possible after the arrival of a newborn, Tori has instead chosen to offer her support to other new moms who aren’t so fortunate.
Tori is a huge supporter of the charity, Baby2Baby, which is a service that provides baby items such as diapers, clothing, food, and other gear to families in the Los Angeles area who need assistance. Tori teamed up with Oxygen to host a virtual baby shower back on November 15th to help raise money for the organization. Of her love for the charity Tori said, “Baby2Baby is an organization very close to my heart. I’m so excited that Oxygen and I are partnering to support a tremendous cause.”
Baby2Baby is such an amazing cause, and it’s wonderful that Tori is helping other mothers out and giving back to the Los Angeles community. I checked out their website, and was struck by the phrase, “1 out of 3 moms has had to choose between giving her baby diapers or food.” That’s definitely something that the majority of us have never had to think about. It is wonderful that Tori is helping to get the word out about Baby2Baby!
The new season of Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood, featuring the debut of baby Hattie, premieres Tuesday November 29 at 10/9c only on Oxygen. You can also follow Tori and Dean’s adventures on Facebook and Twitter.
