That was Tori Spelling‘s heartfelt message to her fans on her ToriSpelling.com website this morning, letting them know that her frightening medical ordeal is over.
Nearly two weeks ago, Tori was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to treat a serious complication related to her cesarean section delivery of baby Finn Davey. She remained in the hospital to rest and recover.
No details have been released about her condition, but possible complications of c-sections include abnormal bleeding, infection, blood clots in the lung or leg or placental growth deep in the uterine lining. Last year, following her cesarean delivery of daughter Hattie, Tori was hospitalized for migraines.
But Tori’s upbeat message to fans assured them that all is well now.
“Hi everyone – I wanted to let you know that I am home from the hospital, on the road to recovery and overjoyed to be back with my family,” she wrote. “I am so thankful for all of your love and support these past couple of weeks. It has meant so much to me.”
She also promised that she’ll start posting to her blog again tomorrow. While she was laid up, she kept her Twitter fans entertained by posting links to new clothes and accessories available on her site.
Husband Dean McDermott was an amazing Superdad, caring for their four children solo. He even found time to post cute videos of the kids on his site, DeanMcDermott.com. Liam and Stella share their thoughts on being a big brother and sister again (Stella wants to have tea parties with Finn), and even 11-month-old Hattie puts her two cents in!
Glad to hear that Tori is back home where she belongs.
