Twilight Saga: 'Eclipse' DVD Release Parties

Twilight Eclipse DVD PartiesThe Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD will go on sale at 12:01 a.m. and true Twilight fans are planning to celebrate!  There are Eclipse release parties planned in stores all over the country, with the biggest events happening at Walmart, BestBuy and other retail stores.  But be sure to do your homework before you head out to a Twilight DVD release party.

I made the mistake of taking a pack of crazed 11-year-old girls to The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD release party—-at the only store that didn’t have a Twilight event. Epic FAIL!  Trust me, hell on earth is being at a deserted Walmart store at Midnight with disappointed tweens, longing for Edward.

If you are planning to go to one of the Eclipse DVD parties, the quickest way to find participating stores is to check the official Twilight Saga Movie website.  I’ve done a little bit of checking for you and if you find some Eclipse DVD release party info, send it my way!

Twilight Saga: Eclipse Party Round-Up

Barnes&Noble – The B&N in our area has great Twilight parties! And unlike Walmart and BestBuy, the Barnes & Noble website gives actual start times for the Eclipse party.

Walmart - Featured Walmart stores are holding midnight release parties with games and prizes. Call your local Walmart store or visit the Walmart website.  I didn’t find much on the Walmart website as far as information about Twilight Eclipse events.

BestBuy – The BestBuy website has a list of all stores with Eclipse events. I went to the link and found the stores with events near our home but there were no deets about any Eclipse events.

Know more about Eclipse parties?  Talk to me!  In the meantime, you can drool over this clip from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
