Ty Burell ready to rumble!

The boys of ‘Modern Family’ were spotted trying out a variety of sports while filming scenes in Los Angeles. Ty tried his hand at many sports such as soccer, baseball, frisbee and some boxing with Ed O’neil. Who do you think goes down? Ty or Ed?

Ty Burell has to be one of the funniest dads on TV. He’s the dad that teenage girls kinda really do and kinda really don’t want to have as a teenage girl, but who is every teenage boys dream!

Here’s something maybe you don’t know about Ty: he and his wife had adopted a baby girl, Frances in 2010 and a 2nd daughter in 2012. They seem to live a life that is very quiet and out of the Hollywood spotlight!

There is some great news for Ty! It was announced earlier this week that ABC has bought a comedy, written and co-executive produced by Emmy winner Burrell and his younger brother Duncan. It is based on their childhood!!! This is a comedy about two city families who buy the only store in a tiny rural community in Oregon. In a world where everyone is overly stressed and reliant on technology, this group works together, without every modern convenience, to make a better life for their family.
