When Michael Jackson died, we were told that he’d left over 200 songs in a vault for his children. Is this unreleased jam part of the Jackson kids’ inheritance?

LISTEN TO A SAMPLE HERE

The title of this still unreleased tune is “A Place With No Name.” If you’re thinking that it sounds a little familiar — like maybe a little diddy we all know and love called “A Horse With No Name” — you’re not hearing things.

MJ got permission from the band America, to record the song despite the similarities. In fact, Michael Jackson’s manager in the 80′s and 90′s is America’s current manager and had this to say:

“The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear.”

Hopefully, someone will start diving into the vault o’ treasures that MJ left and release this tune and many others. That way, we can enjoy all of the unreleased tunes… and his kids can pay off daddy’s debt and still be set for life.
