Everyone’s beloved bandanna wearing rock star Bret Michaels remains in the hospital under 24 hour supervision. New test results indicate he’s suffering a side effect from his brain hemorrhage which could lead to seizures.
The summary of the results were posted on his Facebook page:
“Even though today was a minor setback. Doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery and plan to release more specific information next Monday.”
He is reportedly in “positive spirits,” and “responding well to tests and treatments.”
Yesterday Bret’s father Wally Sychak said that his son was beginning to move his limbs again. “He sounded a little slow, but fine. He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way.”
Bret is dad to daughters Raine, 9 ½, and Jorja, 4 ½. He has always been involved in their lives and is set to receive an honorary Father of the Year’ award from the American Diabetes Association in June for his work raising awareness and money to find a cure for diabetes, a disease which effects both him and Raine.
Our thoughts continue to be with him and we hope for his speedy recovery.
