Even though she’s a celebrity mom, it looks like Vanessa Lachey might be dealing with the same issues when it comes to post-partum blues like the rest of us out there. And no, we’re not talking about post-partum depression, but just the feeling that some moms get of needing a little space and “me” time right after they give birth. In Vanessa’s case, that feeling came only four days after she gave birth to her baby boy, Camden.
The celebrity mom tells Us Weekly:
“Well, I’ll never forget day four after Camden was born. I was in bliss the first three days and by day four, I had a moment where I was crying and just needed a second. I was flooded by emotions.”
“I remember needing to get out of the house. I was like, ‘I need me right now.’ I went out, put the windows down in my car, and One Republic’s ‘Feel Again’ came on the radio. I turned it up and felt so much better. I came home, took a shower without any interruption. It is so important to make ‘me’ time.”
