Victoria Beckham Honors 9/11 Victims At New York Fashion Show PresentationJoanna Mazewski
While New York’s most fashionable residents are strutting their stuff in their sky-high Louboutins, there is one designer and celebrity mom who is taking the time to honor the victims of 9/11 at the opening of her fashion show.
British designer Victoria Beckham opened her show presentation this morning by observing the 9:59 am and 10:03 silences, the same moments when the south tower of the World Trade Center fell and passengers on board United Air Lines Fligth 93 wrestled to take over control from hijackers before the plane crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Victoria even retweeted a message on her Twitter account saying, “The Victoria Beckham presentation will be observing the 9:59 and 10:03 silences. So don’t come clattering in late on your Loubs.”
She also added another message saying, “Please follow @action_america. Never forget xvb,” along with a picture of a “Actionista Fashionista” special edition t-shirt.
